It's already conquered Paris and Broadway in sell–out runs and is the most awarded new show this year, and in March 2017 the unstoppable George and Ira Gershwin classic descends on London's newly–refurbished Dominion Theatre, together with its original Broadway headline cast.
Robert Fairchild is Jerry Mulligan, the former GI now trying to make it as a painter in post–war hedonistic Paris, and Leanne Cope is Lise Dassin, the beautiful young dancer who teaches him the true meanings of art, friendship and love. Written by Pulitzer finalist Craig Lucas, directed by Olivier and Tony Award–winner Christopher Wheeldon, with sets, lighting, orchestrations, choreography and costumes all by multi–Tony Award–winning designers, plus a cast of over 50 and top Gershwin songs like I Got Rhythm, 'S Wonderful and They Can't Take That Away From Me, this is a major new event in theatreland and a show you won't want to miss.
